In general this is the best way to study material that requires memorization of structures or pathways. On a separate sheet of paper, draw a cartoon showing how a metabotropic norepinephrine receptor (which is a G-protein receptor) leads to production of CAMP and activation of PKA. Use a minimum of four panels to depict the signal transduction mechanism. Use more than one color for your cartoon (why? Because this makes you focus more on the mechanism and discourages just dashing off some drawings).
