RNA by drawing the chemical structures of the nucleobases and
orienting them to one another correctly. On each pair: (1) draw the
hydrogen bonds, (2) indicate the H-bond donors and acceptors of the
WC base pairs, (3) indicate which atom in the nucleobases will be
bound to the 1’ position of the ribose sugar in the backbone. On
one of the DNA pairs, indicate where the major and minor grooves
are located. State which nucleobases are purines and which are
pyrimidines.
